The comparison

Six points, with sources, and the ones where they are ahead

Every claim about another platform below carries a source and the date we read it. Figures change, and a comparison without a date is a comparison you cannot check.

Rows marked as reported rather than published come from journalism or from unions rather than from the company. That is weaker evidence and it is labelled as such.

What actually differs

The kitchen, the dish and the courier are the same

What differs is how the order is split and how many channels sit in one system. The tables carry the figures and the sources. The photographs carry no claim at all.

  • The same kitchen cooks the food whichever app took the order.
  • The same dish, at the same price as in the dining room.
  • The same courier rides, and that is where the pay difference sits.
  • Rescued food lives in the same app, not in a second one.
  • The fridge in the entrance is there too, on the same account.
  • The overlap between the channels is the whole reason the fee can be lower.

Where they are ahead

Four things the incumbents do better than us today

A comparison that we win on every row is an advertisement. These are the reasons a restaurant might reasonably choose someone else, and you should weigh them.

Customers already there

Foodora and Uber Eats have millions of Swedish users with the app already installed. We do not. A lower commission on fewer orders can be less money, and that arithmetic is yours to do, not ours to wave away.

Coverage

They deliver in more places, at more hours, with more couriers on shift at eight on a Friday. Density is the whole business, and they have had a decade to build it.

Marketing spend

They can buy a customer's first order at a loss and keep doing it. We cannot, and a restaurant that expects us to fill an empty Tuesday with paid promotions will be disappointed.

Track record

They have been operating for years and have survived a downturn. We are newer. If the thing you are buying is certainty that the platform will exist in five years, that is a fair reason to choose them.

The honest conclusion: if you already sell well through an existing platform, run both. There is no exclusivity in our agreement, no joining fee and no minimum term, so the cost of testing us alongside them is your own time and nothing else.
