The app

Install it from here, not from a store

The installable version works today on every current browser. It sits on your home screen with its own icon, opens without an address bar and keeps working when the network does not.

Install Foods

The app installs from this page rather than from a store. It takes ten seconds and needs no account.

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open the page in Safari.
  2. Tap the share button, the square with the arrow pointing up.
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen.

Android and desktop

  1. Open the three-dot menu in Chrome.
  2. Choose Install app.
  3. Confirm.

Safari never offers an installation prompt, on iPhone or on Mac. That is Apple's limitation rather than ours, which is why the steps are written out instead of hidden behind a button.

The steps name the buttons your browser actually shows. Safari never offers an install prompt, on iPhone or on Mac, so on Apple devices they are written out rather than hidden behind a button that would never appear.

The native app is not out yet

A Flutter app for iPhone and Android is being built. It is not on the App Store or on Google Play today, and we are not going to put a download button next to something that does not exist.

What it will add over the installed web version: background location while a delivery is live, so a courier does not have to keep the screen awake, and proper push notifications on iPhone.

Ask to be told when it arrives

That form is on the Swedish page and takes an email address and nothing else.

What works offline

What you keep when the network drops

An installed app that shows a blank screen without a connection is a website with a nicer icon.

  • Pages you have already opened, including the terms and the pricing.
  • Your basket, which is stored on the device until you sign in.
  • An order already placed keeps showing its last known status rather than an error.
Four things you do most

It all sits in one app, on one account

Recipes, shopping list, ordering and the fridges. Allergies are set once and follow you everywhere, for the whole household.

  • The recipe bank and the calorie counter work without an account.
  • The shopping list is built from the week's recipes and can be shared.
  • Ordering, rescued food and the fridges all sit in one app.
  • The door opens with your phone, with no card and no code.
